Food
Bemidji State University is providing an optional meal plan for Unicon registrants. The meal plans are available to all registered participants, whether or not you are staying in the dorms. Sign up for your desired meal plan(s) through the registration link no later than June 20, 2024.
Meal Plan options include:
$100 for Breakfast daily from July 14-27
$150 for Dinner daily from July 13-25
Vegetarian, gluten-free, and vegan options will be available at every meal. Meals are served at Wally’s Dining Hall, near both Oak Hall and Linden Hall dorms.
A limited number of meals may be available each day for those who haven't prepaid for a meal plan. Breakfast will cost $9 per person; the cost of lunch will be $12.50 per person; the cost of dinner will be $14 per person.
Wally's Dining hours for Unicon will be different than the hours posted on their website. The hours for Unicon will be:
7 Days a week
Breakfast 7:00 am - 10:00 am
Lunch 11:30 am - 1 pm
Dinner 5:00 pm - 7:30 pm
Dorm Rooms
Housing at Bemidji State University is available for registered participants at Unicon 21. Registered participants include Competitors and Non-Competitors. Housing in Oak Hall and Linden Hall is priced for 13 or 14 night stays. Participants who register for housing are responsible for the cost for the entire event regardless of the nights they actually stay in the dorms. Sub-contracting or releasing rooms to other competitors is not allowed.
Dorm room availability is based on the date you complete the payment for your registration. You will not be able to register for dorm rooms after June 20, 2024. It is possible that we will reach our maximum dorm capacity prior to that date. If the dorm rooms are filled prior to June 20, 2024, rooms that have been reserved but not yet paid for will be released. Those rooms will then become available to other registrants who both reserve a room and complete their payment.
Roommates: If you register for a double dorm room, we will follow up later to ask about your roommate selection. If you don't have a preference, we will assign you a roommate.
Refrigerator Rental: If you are staying in the dorms, refrigerators are available for rent. A small mini-fridge is $45 for the full length of stay; a large mini-fridge is $73 for your full 13 or 14 night stay.
Oak Hall
Single Rooms for 1 person. (Note: The number of single rooms is limited.) The cost is $35 per night for July 13-26 ($455 - $490 per person total).
Double Rooms for 2 people. The cost is $25 per person per night for July 13-26 ($325 - $350 per person total).
Triple Rooms for a group or family. One person must be an adult, one person must be a child (age 14 and under), and the third person may be either an adult or child. Private bathroom is included. The cost is $28 per person per night. To have this added to your registration, send an email with the ID and name of group/family members to questions@unicon21.us
All rooms include Twin XL bed(s), dresser(s), bed linens, pillow(s), and towels.
Oak Hall includes:
Bathrooms with showers and bathtub on each floor
WiFi and internet throughout the building
Free onsite laundry, including washers and dryers
Several gathering rooms with games, televisions and kitchens

Linden Hall - Special Needs Housing
Linden Hall dorm rooms are available for people with special needs only.
Each Linden Hall suite includes room for 3 people. The cost is $41 per person for July 13-26 ($533 - $574 per person total).
Linden Hall suites include:
3 Twin XL beds, 3 dressers, bed linens, pillows, and towels
Each suite has its own bathroom and shower
WiFi and internet is available throughout the building
Free onsite laundry in the building, including washers and dryers
Several gathering rooms with games, televisions and kitchens
