Criterium Overview-
Course- Sanford Center Front Parking Lot by Mini Golf
The twisting and turning course will be 2-4K in length. Standard will have a shorter, more compact course and Unlimited will have a longer course, with more turns.
The course will be available to inspect and pre-ride at 7:00 am.

Checking in for the Criterium-
Location- Sanford front Parking Lot near the Volunteer Tent
At check in show- Number Bib, Unicycle, Protective Gear including- Helmet, Gloves and Shoes.
Your unicycle wheel will be measured- if it fits in the Measurement box, you will race Standard, otherwise you will race Unlimited.
At check in Know- Wheel Size, Crank Size and Geared/Un-Geared
Staging area- Following check in, proceed to the staging area for Heat line up.
Racing-
Prelims-
All Prelims will be a 4 Lap race.
Standard will compete on a shorter, more compact course and Unlimited will compete on a longer course with fewer turns.
Age Group awards will be based on Prelim Results considering number of laps and overall time.
Finals-
20” 0-10 Category will complete 2 laps of the standard course.
Standard and Unlimited Finals will be composed of the first 5 finishes from each heat in the Prelims and will race a 6 lap final.
Criterium Considerations-
Bell Lap- A bell will sound when the lead rider begins the final lap of the race.
Interference and Falls-If a rider falls due to other riders falling ahead or nearby, this is generally considered part of the race. Intentional interference with other riders is not permitted and may result in disqualification by the Referee. Ride your race and be aware of others on the course.
Lapped Riders- Lapped riders in the race will all finish on the same lap as the leader and will be placed according to the number of laps completed and time at the finish.
